Friendly staff at the entrance. You can rent towel.or as we got one from 58 cron motel ( together with discount ) Big separated changing rooms for male/female with showers. You can put your stuff in a 2dollar locker or in cubicles just outside which is perfect if you leave your valuables at home. 3 pools 36 38 and 40... More

We all enjoyed the pool . It had warm water and the place was busy. Family had a great time. Good ambience but the only thing is size of pool could be bigger

This is a gem if you're looking for somewhere to relax at Franz Josef. You don't see much but the landscaping (with trees and ferns) is quite pretty - nicer than Hanmer though not nearly as big. $27 pp for the most basic hot pools package though, and that's only for 90 minutes in the pools.

After a hectic drive from Christchurch to Franz Josef amidst the huge mountains, this place is just right opposite to the King a Tiger restaurant in Franz Josef. This is a glacier hot water pool and for those who are facing a tiresome day all driving this is the perfect place to relax. I dropped in this place sometime in... More

We booked a private pool in the evening. The pool is really warm and secluded. Lovely shower and facilities - unfortunately for us though the staff forgot that we had come in early (to use the regular hot pools) and they told us to wait by the foyer 5 mins before our 'time'. We waited about 10 minutes (in our... More

There are lots of options, all expensive. There are private pools (extra for a half hour) and three public pools that can get a bit crowded. Extra fees for towels, lockers, sandals, robes etc.

We had trekked to Fox Glacier in the rain and were feeling a little sorry for ourselves so we decided to visit the hot pools and it was lovely. So relaxing. The towels provided were a little small and not exactly luxurious, but they did the job.
