You have go to be really lucky to have the weather in your favour and we were :) Well worth the the money! The guides were professional, yet lot of fun to hike with Amazing experience on the ice and heli ride. HeliHike is definitely recommended for anyone with moderate fitness Don't miss this!! Book it in advance.

It's a shame the glacier has receded so much. It's worth the walk to see it but the viewpoint is where the glacier was in 2008! I didn't do any helicopter tours as I've already had many glacier experiences elsewhere in the world. It's not worth the trip here unless you are happy to see a glacier in the distance... More

Stunning! Go earlier in the day as we went quite late (when our tour arrived) It's gets dark between 5-5:30pm and we felt rushed to get in and out

The wonders of mother nature. It is must to take a walk to see the glacier. It is spectacular and might not be there anymore in the next 10 years to come. The glacier is getting less and less. Highly recommended place to visit. One should not missed it if possible.

A natural wonder, this was a highlight. Unfortunately the Glacier is retreating, a sentiment we heard over and again from travellers who had been there in the last 10 years. Access to the Glacier is dependent on the conditions and we were lucky enough to walk within 350 metres. To get up close, a helicopter is the best option but... More

We did the Glacier valley walk and it was about 90 minutes return for 2 for people each carrying an infant in a baby carrier. I wouldn't recommend taking a stroller on this walk. Plenty of places to stop for photos. Just keep to the main track as it can apparently be quite dangerous if you don't. If you want... More

This walk is quite wonderful and has a very good walkway. The scenery along the way is great but when you get to the glacier it's just beautiful

Take the valley walk all the way to the end - just 750m from the glacier face. Stunning to see and marvel at nature while getting in some great photos. Stick to the valley path - its a dangerous place to wander!

Easy walk from the car park and you can see how ice transforms the land over years and how beautiful landscapes are created!
