Long beach, narrow sand bed

This is a long long beach though with a narrow sand bed. The sand is soft and you can walk for miles and the water will only come up til your belly. If you prefer less people... read more

It is beautiful but the water is not deep enough for anything besides wading. There is also a lot of seaweed .

The entire west coast of Saipan serves as sunset beach but if heading for a spot our Saipan family wanting to impress brought us to Micro Beach. The tide was low and we found ourselves walking out on the cleanest, pure sand simply demanding any shoe removal. Beautiful. Need one write more.

Not sure if the tide in front of American Memorial Park is always like this, but it was too shallow to do anything. It was like a kiddy pool. However it's so shallow at one part that you can walk out and basically stand on sand in the ocean which makes for a cool pic. Good to relax in front... More

Not what it used to be. The beach and water are still beautiful but the surrounding area needs a lot of work. For a primary tourist spot, the area needs extra TLC. Most locals go to more secluded beaches in the south, west, or north.

If you want to dive, this may not be your spot. However, for those looking for a safe place for the family (especially with young children) then this is your place. All of the other beaches that we went to had rock/corral beaches that were less pleasant. Micro Beach, however, has 200-300 meters of shallow beach for you and your... More

This is a long long beach though with a narrow sand bed. The sand is soft and you can walk for miles and the water will only come up til your belly. If you prefer less people, walk away from the Hyatt portion and you will easily be able to find a secluded spot. Parking easy, i dont think they... More

Micro beach is connected with Hyatt Regency Hotel. However, it is easily accessible by non hotel residents along a road from American Memorial Park to the beach direction. I can see Managaha Island from Micro Beach. Actually, quite a lot of local tour to Managaha will depart from this beach. Water color is amazing, it is a must visit place... More

Visited Micro Beach on Saipan in July 2016. First time I had been to Micro Beach in years. It is definitely over rated. There are much better beaches on Saipan just a short drive away!! I guess you hear so much about Micro Beach just because it is near a number of the big hotels. And you are very aware... More

I was working for Hyatt Regency Saipan and during some of my breaks I would have this beautiful walk through the trees to go over the more quiet side of the beach and just layout my sarong under the shade and have my nap. Nothing spectacular but you should see what it has to offer

Micro Beach, a favorite of tourists and locals alike, is right here in town and easily accessible which is why we are here. Along this stretch of pristine white sand (which shows up in a lot of Japanese TV commercials after they clean up after the recent typhoon). Walking along the beach into town we saw the huge latte stones... More
