Had a very enjoyable day at Cannon Hall, parking cheap at £3.00 all day and ample parking. Entry into the hall was free and was well presented. Gardens and walks were very good. Facilities and places to eat were first class and very reasonably priced - although we went as a couple it would be a great day out for... More

Visited yesterday, great day out. All in all a family of four (a 1yr and 3 year child), looking at £60 for farm entry and food. A little pricey, however the food was lovely and so were the facilities. Love the indoor play area.

Took the children to feed the ducks and play in the playground. £3 to park all day so good value. You can buy duck food in the garden centre across the road for 50p a bag. Walked up to see the house and gardens and bought some nice flowers from the little flower shop which is next to the house.... More

Visited many times. The museum and hall are very interesting. Saw a display of costumes from the Downton Abbey series at the Hall which was most interesting. I've also attended a wedding at Cannon Hall . Lovely venue for weddings. The gardens are lovely and you can enjoy extensive views of rolling countryside.

This place has got better and better over the years. Ideal on a nice warn (and dry) day to have a picnic in the grounds, play by the river and chill. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and let off steam while you relax. Lots of additional activities and attractions to occupy everyone and make this a... More

I went on a visit to Cannon Hall, specifically to have a meal with my Mum and 2 relatives. Being her 84th birthday, Sunday 19th March. I ordered Beefburger with saute onions, salad. I didn't want chips and asked if they did potatoes or mash, the response was no, only jackets or roast . I ordered roast potatoes for myself... More

Cannon Hall is a beautiful house. I've lived in Barnsley all my life and as a child, teenager and adult would come here to have picnics, play in the grounds and sometimes fish, it was always just "there" to be taken for granted. It is a truly beautiful place with lovely cafe, restaurant, farm, shops, deli and the grounds and... More
