I wouldn't come here expecting to be blown away. But if you don't have high expectations, I think you will really enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through these gardens. They are situated near the Jordan River and tucked on the backside of a park. Each garden is themed after a country. The gardens are fairly simple which I find refreshing.... More

As a photographer I use this park within a park for its array of different backdrops. It's been around a while but they keep it beautiful. I've seen a few people that are a little suspect but they keep to the outer park and it doesn't seem to keep the few families I see away. Largely not utilized due to... More

This is a spacious garden with a wide variety of plants, and walking paths leading to niches with architecture and features from many international locations. A nice place to walk, sit, talk, and meander. There is a Farmer's Market nearby on Saturdays when the weather is good.

We visited this place and discovered in horror that the UK was represented not by Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge or the Tower of London but by Margret Thatcher. Time to update? Time for some countries to take control of their displays.

Found this little gem the other day. Great place to take a stroll, very pretty. There were a few spots that lacked something to see(not sure if it's left up to the local groups to donate or assist in building their own displays). I thought the Norwegian display was very cool, there was a log cabin a stilts representing an... More

Free parking. It was a great place to walk around and view gardens from different countries. Each one was very unique. It was a very calm, peaceful place. Very relaxing to just stroll through the gardens.

The international Peace Gardens at Jordan Park is located at 9th West and 10th South in Salt Lake City and is easy to get to from just about anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley. The Gardens occupy 11 acres along the banks of the Jordan River and, as the sign at the entrance states, were created to "symbolize the true... More

Great spot of pondering and taking a short walk. Bring a lunch, find a bench, and enjoy the sounds of nature.

The Peace Gardens are a nice place to reflect and enjoy the beautiful flowers and plants in the park. Nice winter or summer, but better in the Summer. International themed areas of the gardens are a fun place to visit.

I enjoyed walking through the many gardens in this park. Several countries are represented and even donated something to their country's exhibit. When we went it was mostly peaceful. There were at times families with children being noisy and playing but that just goes to show that everyone can enjoy the garden. The flowers were beautiful and well maintained. It's... More
