After scheduling a tour of Temple Square, I happened into the Conference Center. Being February, it was REALLY slow so we had our own tour guide. The tours are provided by adult LDS volunteers. In a nutshell, the LDS church had outgrown their other assembly...More

It was interesting to tour this building and see where conference for the LDS church is held and the history of the building and see the art they have inside the building. The roof is neat, an open garden area.

This building is amazing! The architecture is unbelievable - no pillars holding the roof up. And we were on the roof looking at the outdoor garden. Not only is the architecture great, but there are beautiful, original paintings throughout the building. It is a wonderful...More

Free tours available. Lots of women's bathrooms! Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was breathtaking seeing the city from the garden top.

It is an incredible multipurpose building. the garden on the roof is gorgeous and totally unexpected. It seats about 20000-25000 people.

My husband and I were walking around the front of the building, when all of a sudden a nice, older lady waved us inside and convinced us to take a free tour of the building. It's a really cool place to see, even if you're...More

This beautiful structure truly is an engineering Marvel. Amazing that they can have that much weight supported on one beam. It is an amazing place to visit and a miracle of modern technology.

I can see that if you’re Mormon, this would be a good place to visit. If you’re not and have no interest in converting to this religion, I would say, skip it.

This marvelous building is so large for a 'conference' or entertainment center that it is overwhelming There are more restrooms for women than men (wow). The decor is amazing and breathtaking.

Pretty interesting and absolutely worth the time. Maybe an hour or so as there is a lot to see and do. The roof is very interesting but cold right now!

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.

We enjoy both Temple Square and the conference center. If you get to the conference center early (around 8:15 or 8:30 am, I think) on Sunday morning, you can sit through the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast of "Music and... More
