The family search center is for anybody who is interested in finding their ancestors! There are multiple people on hand to help you with whatever you need. It's even just fun to Stop in and put your name in the computer and see what comes up and who you might be connected to.

Wondering where you came from? Find out here. There are absolutely every database to search to find those long lost relatives and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable you won't have a problem leaving with information about your ancestors. It is fun and exciting and you learn lots to boot.

Be sure to have as many references as possible before you go. Help there is sometimes difficult, when searching for specific areas and places. It can be difficult to locate reference material in library.

What a wonderful service the LDS community has provides for learning to research one's ancestry. The aides are very attentive , knowledgeable and patient. Bring a little information about an ancestor and see what you can discover

You couldn't ask for more or better help. I was there for 6 hours and could have stayed longer. Just when I was about to leave the Elder who was helping me showed me more and I ended up staying another hour. Everyone was lovely and helpful

We were not planning on entering, end of day. Place is beautiful First 5 star hotel west of the Mississipi. Utah hotel. Redid by the Family search center (Mormons) Hall and mez kept up to luxury of old as is the top floor with 2 restaurants. Best buffet, nice garden restaurant also, great view.

Located in the old Utah Hotel dates back to 1912. It's beautifully ornate. And has the Nauvoo Cafe for snacks or lunch. The staff are very helpful and willing to guide you with your search. I highly recommend.

I was warmly welcomed into the family search center and helped for the entire 3 hours i was there. Never once was mormonism or religion pushed or preached. Just a great experience.

Have been using the FHL since the 1960s and really appreciate their constant efforts to improve. Advisers and full-time experts are well-trained. From what I observe, those new to family history get a fine and exciting introduction. Facilities are easy to use--full of computers as well as microfilm readers. Friendly, helpful advisers are stationed everywhere and make themselves readily available... More

You can enjoy this search center because you can learn about your family. The Mormons really know their genealogy and they have helped me in different parts of the country with my Family research.
