I always go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast performance on Sunday morning. The last trip, I had the privilege of attending a Thursday evening performance of Rogers and Hammerstein music. The perfect way to relax after attending genealogy lectures at RootsTech 2017.

Was fortunate to catch the Mormon Tabernacle Choir before my flight out of SLC. The music and their voices were so angelic, tears were inexplicably flowing. And I wasn't the only one. An event you have to experience yourself. HIGHLY recommend!

One of our national treasures. My wife attended the rehearsal and were wowed by the choir and orchestra. I want to see the actual unrehearsed presentation.

If you have an opportunity to see the Sunday morning music and the spoken word broadcast with the choir, make sure you take advantage. Everything is free and the music is awesome. There's not another choir that compares.

Be in seat by 9:15, but arrive earlier for better seating. Recommend sitting on first level by the audio booth. Always inspirational.

The choir rehearsal was outstanding to behold. The sound from 400 vocalists and 100 instrumentalists was rich and well orchestrated. The conductor is obviously an excellent well rehearsed musician who commands a commitment of attention from this crowd of musicians. The organist never missed a...More

We had a chance to see and hear the Choir on our recent visit during one of their Sunday broadcasts. Nothing else to say except it was wonderful and would highly recommend paying it a visit if you are in town on a Sunday morning.

We visited this awesome attraction on a warm summer day. My husband and I toured the building during a time when the choir was not performing. Someone was practicing at the organ and the sound was absolutely heavenly. There are beautiful gardens and a large...More

Brought my elderly mother in law visiting from Florida to a Sunday performance. A highlight of her life. A definite must if you are in SLC and don’t mind getting up early on a Sunday morning. It was a live nationwide broadcast so make sure...More

A beautiful building with fantastic acoustics. We just sat at the back a look and admired this wonderful building. If you visit the temple then don’t miss this as well.

I do not know of any guided tours from Denver to SLC. There are many places to stay in downtown Salt Lake. You might check out Airbnb as there are many of those as well around Temple Square within walking distance. There is... More
