If you have ten minutes to spare and an architecture/photography buff, come on by! This library has beautiful architecture. Shops on the 1st floor (book shop, flower shop, snack shop, cafes, etc.) Nice place to hang out. Library looks a bit worn/dirty. Lots of homeless...More

This is a cool library and a great free activity when visiting SLC. The architecture is fascinating and by going to the top floor you can go on the roof and have fantastic panoramic views of SLC and the mountains. There is a small shopping...More

Who knew that when you visit SLC some of the best views of the city would be on top of the library! The walk up to the top is easy or you can go inside and take the elevator to the roof. It's peaceful and...More

Well done building both inside and out. Take a walk up the ramp to the top for a nice view. Just such a beautiful building for Salt Lake City. And of course, a good library.

Great events are consistently offered to the public, free of charge. The lobby has fun little shops and a few tables for people watching. The location is great for visitors and the grounds provide a nice spot to stop and relax.

I'm really interested in reading and libraries but I sought out the library because you can climb the stairs to the top and take photographs of the city and the mountains.

Aside from the gorgeous architecture, the library has a rooftop where you get a 360° view of the Salt Lake valley, and there are also lots of fun little shops to explore!

Yes. The SLC library has free computers for use on the third floor. Copies are available, but I am not sure of the price per copy.
