Even though it was foggy & misty chilly day enjoyed every bit of it specially the exhibits, the volunteers & walking the beaches & trails. Would love to come back.

Favorite beach no matter the weather. Very foggy but a smooth ride (this time - you never know what to expect). Went to the 40 mile marker and it took about 90 minutes.

We went here today. We drove for miles on the Beach. It was high tide and the surf was up. Lots of birds on the Beach. Nice visitors center. Good place to explore.

I think you’ll be fine. The sand is very hard packed, like a dirt road. I had a rental with no WD so I didn’t go past the beach area they recommended, but I think you’ll be fine.
