Solid place to visit if you don't mind driving out into the middle of nowhere. It definitely has a Latin-American-like theme to it, and there are plenty of plants and birds. I was there in August, and I was amazed by how the animals were...More

My husband, my two sons (ages 13 and 2), and I made a special trip to Corpus to visit the Botanical gardens. My 13 year old is Autistic and loves snakes and plants. We arrived around 11:45am, and it wasn't very busy. At the counter...More

Have some nice exhibits. Need more signage to guide people on nature walks and gravel to avoid muddying guest shoes. Suggest trying to attend when they have Parrot Talks (although that event could benefit with some planning and polish).

Botanical Gardens have never disappointed. I've attended weddings here, as well as other functions, and the grounds are always gorgeous. If you're a photographer, you can visit the office and get a photo pass for a small fee. SO worth it.

It wasn't bad. Nice and relaxing, if you're wearing perfume...beware the butterflies. Have fun while you're here. Come with open expectations.

We visited the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center while camping at Mustang Island State Park. It was supposed to be sort of rainy so we decided to check this out instead of the beach. We enjoyed our visit. When we first arrived they...More
