We just saw the Dorothy Hood retrospective (sadly it has closed). The curation and hanging of the many, many pieces was pretty world class. Although our first time here, this museum showed their 'art chops' with the Hood show. Excellent. Nice cafe. Many galleries overlook...More

The museum isn't as big as it seems outside, and you must really appreciate or study the arts to like it. The current exhibit held plenty of interactive areas that were fun to partake in and learn about. There are also areas where children's art...More

I have been to this museum a couple of times and they always land it. Almost the entire museum is the Dorothy Hood exhibit. It is always nice to see someone that you have known recognized for their body of work. There are several different...More

We stopped here to get out of the rain and were surprised that it was a highlight of our trip. There are some amazing Chihuly glass pieces and several interesting pieces including a Cindy Sherman original upstairs! I highly recommend it!

Check Groupon before you go though. They typically run one and it's a good deal. I also remember seeing there is a discounted/free night of the week or month as well. You can call and ask which day it is.
