A couple of fishing charters took us on to the Laguna Madre. Awesome waters and landscape, especially off the coast of the Kenedy (yes correct spelling) ranch of nearly half a million acres. Caught a lot of fish,

The area is not so big, the lagoon self looks like a swamp. There is a pier and you'll see people do fishing. We stayed on the pier for a while and waited for the sunset. It was beautiful.

Fishing, boating, playing ... whatever you want to do, you can do it here. Out of the hustle of the Gulf, this is truly a gem to explore.

Whether you are into birding, boating,or fishing this is a great area to spend some time. For those less active enthusiasts you can it at Doc's or Snoopy's and have a drink and just enjoy watching the activity on the water.

Fish are biting, weather is warm...what more could you ask for? It is still a bit chilly once the sun goes down but a light jacket will take care of that. ENJOY LIFE!

Honestly.....search Google for Corpus Christi guides. Or visit the local tackle shops: Roy's & Clem's are good choices.
