The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History was established in 1952 and sits perched on the scenic harbor water front in the Sports, Entertainment and Arts (S.E.A.) district in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Museum serves over 100,000 visitors, provides history, science exploration and educational programming. The Museum is also the repository for hundreds of thousands of artifacts and historically significant items in it’s 90,000 SF facility. The Museum engages and educates the public in science and history through exhibits and programming to inspire curiosity, understanding and an enduring thirst for knowledge.

The museum was just ok. It had some artifacts but wasn’t really presented well. Most item told you what they are but didn’t get any more information than that.

Went in here mainly to spend some time in the air conditioning and was pleasantly surprised. If you are a Texas history buff this place is underrated. Easily spent a couple of hours in here and could still go back for one more visit. Great...More

This place is awesome for a day of fun activities with young or old alike !!! I took my Granddaughters 6 & 3 and they had a blast !!! Something for everyone and the price is great too .... $35 for the 3 of us...More

nice exhibits to keep the whole family entertained. Nice variety, but too spread out. Easy to get through. REcommed stopping when in teh area.

You should know that the hands on "Science" museum is great for kids 6 and under. Older kids will probably be bored. We visited on a Tuesday and a lot of exhibits were not available and that was disappointing. This is 90% museum and 10%...More

What a terrific place. Meant to only spend a couple hours there but spent two days. Wonderful layout that gives you time and space to wander. The displays were not just item under glass but put into themes such as a village etc. very interactive...More

You can also walk down to the seawall to picnic, watch the birds and water and ships.

General admission-adults are 9.00, kids 3-12 are 7.00, 2 and under are free. Military with id are 4.50! Seniors are 7.00!!! Great fun. Members are free. 361-826-4667.
