Not as big as some of the bigger city museums, but it has been updated . Lots of interactive things for the kids to do. Plan to spend a few hours here.

The guide they assigned us was phoning in his tour He was only reading the text posted at each display, and not very well at that. He thought "sounding" on a... More

Unlike many places I have been I did not have to search for parking or pay expensive fees to park (it was free). I am military and they offered a very steep discount to military card holders. The museum part covers Texas and Corpus Christi history from pre-colonization until present and was well done with many interactive opportunities. You can... More

This museum is about the right size for a local museum and has a good mix of science and history displays. I think one of the strong points the museum has is the exhibit on local native american culture and local history. The museum also has a children's section which is small but constantly improving.

Make sure to have good walking shoes, the museum is vast and has many things to see, even though it doesn't look very big from the outside.
