This kids museum is smaller than what you'd find at a bigger city but its still a great site to visit!

HEB, Target, a TV station are the main sponsors. As science, they have a mock medical and dentist office. A few cheap games, and some other sectors trying to be some sort of educational activities. My daughters were looking to see and learn something about science, biology, the area, interact with exhibitions, but they were dissapointed, and so was I.... More

This museum is small compared to some others I have been to in North America. However there were lots of play activities for younger (under 10) kids. We went near closing on a Sunday and it was not very busy. It would be very crowded at peak times.

A few of my friends came down from up north and we went during the holidays. It was awesome and they are looking forward to going again.

The Brownsville Children's museum is a great place for families with young children. Children can use their imagination playing in a restaurant, dentist office, on a farm, on a ship, in a weather studio and even with a giant chess set. My daughter, my neices and nephews could spend hours playing. If you want to pack a picnic, Dean Porter... More

My kids loved the museum. It has multiple play areas including a restaurant, a grocery store, a weather station, a dental/doctor's office, etc. My oldest is 6 and he had a good time, but I think he was at the upper end of kids that would enjoy the visit. My biggest complaint is the cost. It costs $8 per person... More

There is so much to do at the Children's Museum from shopping, to preparing a pizza, to climbing, learning about your body and even a light house. Hours of fun and entertainment for the kiddos.
