This area is really well kept and nice. The trails are paved and lead to the National Civil War Museum and gift shop. Free parking.

Not only does this private civil park protect the land where Union troops broke through Confederate lines leading directly to the Army of Northern Virginia's surrender a week later, but the park contains two wonderful interactive museums.

We had only time for about 4 hours and could easily have done 6 hours. The movie that was shown clearly gave the compete story of the battle and the walking tour added to that.

The General Admission fee is $13 for adults, $8 for children aged 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. There are also AAA, Military, Senior and group discounts available. Thanks so much for asking!
