Maybe it was too sunny or something when we went, but it just didn't appear that blue to me. I would say it was average, but don't expect to be overwhelmed.

The scenery looks similar to Badlands in South Dakota to me, except the color here is unique blue. We walked the blue mesa loop, truly enjoyed the natural beauty.

We traveled through with our 32 ft rv. Access and parking was easy we were able to hike down trails and enjoyed the scenery.

You can take a breathtaking view from the top or hike the .08 mile that is a tarred loop path down to the base of these beauties. A section of the trail grade is 35%. The majority can make this hike.

Stop to see these pretty blue lines in the rock formations. A short walk down a few steps,will bring you up close to Blue Mesa.

There are several points of interest to stop and enjoy and all have short , mostly paved, easy walk paths.
