We didn't go into the museum, but the sculptures alone are worth a visit, especially the one at the entrance on the corner.

This is a good example of why regional museums are valuable. There was great emphasis on Albuquerque in a very good way, and also plenty of material about New Mexico more generally. The art was quite nice and we saw a terrific show on African...More

Many memories of the town I grew up in. Good seeing the "Hales Shoes" sign. Worked there through high school and part of college. Museum offers good memories for me and a good overview of the city and it's culture for those visiting from out...More

The price was very good at $4 per person, but it did not hold my interest. In my opinion the whole place and all of its exhibits can be seen in about 30 minutes. The good thing is they validate your parking.

The Albuquerque Museum is located within a block of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, one of the "crown jewels" of Albuquerque attractions. So I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere nearly as interesting. But I was wrong. It's huge, with an array of...More

We visited on a Sunday morning, and we were pleasantly surprised that there was no admission cost on that day. Not sure if that's true every Sunday morning--best to check. This is a lovely museum, with lots of interesting sections. And, a beautiful building as...More

Probably spent more time at this museum than any I’ve visited before. Be sure and arrive before 11 am so you can take the walking tour of Old Town Albuquerque. The tour is an hour long and free with the price of admission. The museum...More
