We enjoyed a visit to this museum with our teenage son. It was very interesting. We happened upon a tour given by the curator of the museum. He was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend stopping here especially with teenagers or adults.

This museum is a great place to visit on a rainy day, or when it is just to hot outside. Very informative and prices are decent. There are several exhibits with dinosaurs which most kids go crazy over. We did not have our children and...More

This museum has so many areas, so much to see, make sure you have several hours to take it all in. Clean, well kept displays. We really enjoyed every minute.

There is something new to see every visit. On my last visit we watched the Planetarium show and viewed the Opal exhibit. Both were excellent.

This is my first visit to such a museum but I was impressed! Excellent cafe and gift shop. Easily visited in a couple of hours. It is a shame that Wild Music is a temporary exhibit - such fun and interactive so even kids were...More

A good place to get out of the heat and learn about way, way past of New Mexico. Good lay out and simple navigation. It was okay but not top of the to-do list.

My kids loved the dinosaur bones the best. The museum is set up as a sort of time line that you can follow along through using the maps and numbers. It makes the museum very logically put together.

Exhibits are well put together and put our equivalent in Los Angeles to shame. There is an IMAX theater and a reasonable cafe on the premises.

Some hotels have shuttles to and from the airport, but none go to the Museum that I know of. There are bus stops near the museum.
