Beautiful complex

We were here on a Friday afternoon and viewed the art gallery. The people were friendly and helpful and the art, particularly in the featured display was incredible.

They have a website stating their events. Nice place. I especially enjoy going and hanging out at the new sculpture "Warrior's Repose" by Jacob Sisneros. A place to reflect. Also, they work with the community for events. I went to La Llorna with ABQ High School and Anaya's writing of the play. Good stuff!

M'tucci's Cocina at the National Hispanic Cultural Center is now open on Fridays for lunch and dinner (11 am - 8 pm). They are serving buffet style meals and the restaurant has a full bar license but not great selection of wines. It is so convenient to be able there before a show and the price was very reasonable. Very interesting to see Hispanic art and look at the past from a different view. Also saw a play previously at center.

I visited the museum on the campus of the NHCC in May 2016. It is a great musuem. The tower on the campus is also wonderful with beautiful murals inside. In August 2016 I took a cooking class at the Cervantes Institute which is also part of the NHCC campus, great place for spanish language classes.

This wondrous festival will blow you off your feet! Save the dates for next year! It’s New Mexico’s annual “Celebration of World Music and Culture” - “Globalquerque” - which brings a stunning variety of cultures & superior musicians to the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) in downtown Albuquerque to perform every September. 2016 was their 12th annual event! I can’t... More

My wife and I regularly attend concert type events at Route 66 Casino, we have dinner and do a little gambling, but after the last visit we will probley not be going back. Had 2 incidents with gang-banger types, both would have resulted in confrontation if I had not walked away, and no security to be seen anywhere. It just... More

The Fresco is amazing -- toe docent was some help but seemed to feel it was or job to figure it out on our own. Since I'm not of Hispanic heritage, I had trouble reading most of it. The signage could be better. It was hard to know where to go for what parts of the center. We walked a... More

We have come here several times to the flamenco dance presentation that ends a week of master classes in flamenco dance and guitar, given by some of the most talented artists in Spain. The Friday and Saturday performances are the culmination of the week of workshops and feature ~50 flamenco artists. It is a musical sight and sound spectacle that... More
