This is supposed to be a local dog park but they close it for events, and there are no dog friendly trails around the RMNP, so where do we take our furry friends. They need more trees and to stop closing it for events so the locals have somewhere to bring there pets.Be careful not everyone has there dog under... More

This is a social gathering place for locals with dogs. Twice my dog has been bitten, both time the owners laughed it off and said "she nips every now and then" and "your dog is so much bigger it couldn't have hurt. Neither time did either owner gather their dog. Now, my dog is a pit/lab mix, if he decided... More

First, Estes Park Dog Park is a great place to take your dogs for exercise. We have taken our dogs there every time we've been in Estes Park on vacation. Second, I hesitated in writing this, but felt it was important to let everyone know that if your dog is not well for any reason or has a small cut... More

Estes Park is very dog friendly and wish I had more time to visit as I missed my dogs back home. While there , there were elk in the water next to the park

Stop n the visitors center and ask for information about dog hikes. Us, the mutt stays leashed, but you and Spot get a beautiful outing in a gorgeous mountain setting.

If you are traveling through Rocky Mountain National Park with your dogs, be aware that they are not allowed, even on a leash, in the national parks. Estes Valley Dog Park is a must stop for us when we have our girls with us. I like that there are two separate areas for dogs to play in. One side has... More

This park is unique with the direct water access and plenty of open space to run! Like always with any dog park, caution if you have timid, small dogs. My littles loved it, but the bigger dogs were having so much fun, they were over powering at times.

This is a great space with plenty of room for dogs to run. The caretaker does a terrific job of maintaining the park. But I am now on my second trip to the vet (to the tune of $300) as my dog picked up a severe cough, and then a stomach ailment. Not sure if it is worth it.
