A wonderful stop to learn about Lubec! Part of it is a general store kept like it would have been in the late 1800's.

There is quite a history beyond today’s quaint fishing village named Lubec. This museum does a nice job chronicling Lubec’s fascinating history from its birth, to sardine factory town to its current state. You will find some old photos and relics on display. It is worth a visit and the museum has been set up well. It feels new. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable.

Beautiful view of the Johnson Bay and wonderful place to sit and relax. Many things to see inside the building as well.
