My husband and best friend arranged to surprise me with going on this whale watching tour for my birthday and boy was it worth it! The captain was very aware of where the whales were and was sure to take us there. It was about an hour boat ride out to where the whales were. He heard about a humpback... More

We departed from The Inn on the Wharf; and since we were staying there, we received a discount for the Whale Watch. The boat is large with lots of room to walk around or be seated inside or outside the cabin. We were told that this has been the best year for seeing all types of whales and we were... More

The captain knows the area in and out. And that is exactly what you need when you go whale watching. He knows the signs when whale is present and he is in continuous contact with other captains in the bay. Compared to Bar Harbor, there is no competition here. Wait for the moment he turns off the engines, and you... More

Captain Milton is excellent. We had an enjoyable boat trip with him and the time just flew by. Plus, we were able to see multiple whales! The Captain even stayed out longer than expected when a known minke whale named Slice appeared so that we could see it surface a few times. He was really helpful in describing the area,... More

This tour was arranged for us by the Inn at the Wharf. so we got a bit of a price break. Milton was the captain of the boat for our tour and he was very knowledgeable about the area. We saw many many eagles, a few whales and a lot of porpoises. Really, this was a thrill. The boat has... More

If you happen to be in the area of Lubec, Maine, don't miss out on this amazing experience. First of all, we were pleasantly surprised by the stability of the boat - I am prone to seasickness if there is too much wobble - but had no problem throughout the tour! The captain (who grew up on the waters here)... More

I can't believe no one has reviewed this beautiful little lighthouse right near the Visitor's Center (actually the next left) will take you down to a nice parking lot where you can view the light as well as the bridge and Lubec Harbor. It was not open when we visited, but it was worth the stop. Hint: as you drive... More
