A bully good historic attraction, not to be missed: the home of Theodore Roosevelt from 1902 to 1906, considered the "Summer White House," a beautiful 23-room Victorian mansion estate that also includes a 37-acre National Environmental Study Area of forest, tidal salt marsh and bay beach.

Visited on a Friday so you must take guide tour. About 45 minutes, but well worth taking. Ranger did an excellent job. The grounds are beautiful and so much history to absorb. A must stop.

This place is worth the trip! Beautiful views from the beach. Dog friendly! Clean bathrooms! The walking paths are hilly, not flip flop friendly. The two museums are really well put together. Lots of great history.

Due to time and money, we opted to see the museum part of Sagamore Hill (the house is $10 and also on a timed tour.) Heading west on 25A, there are plenty of advance direction signs for Sagamore Hill (including one which notes it's closed...More

Been so many times I can't even count! The house, the grounds, the huge trees, the history. It recalls a time when big game hunting was approved as a sport. We need to keep perspective when viewing historic sites. But the years of TR as...More

I ordered my tickets online in advance. I recommend you do this as each tour is limited to just a few people due to small areas.
