After having a wonderful lunch at the Milleridge Inn, we decided to tour Sagamore Hill, which was really only a few minutes away. It is the home of Teddy Roosevelt. So much to take in as well as the museum. You felt like you knew...More

Sagamore Hill is a perfect place to showcase family values, melded well into our history, and the American Way of life. It was the summer home of one of America's great Presidents, but more than that, the home and farmstead that surround it sets the...More

I visited Sagamore Hill with my 22 year old daughter, and it was one of the most memorable tours we have ever taken. The guide was very well-informed and interesting as well as knowledgeable. The items in the house are fascinating and made me want...More

I've been to a number of historic homes and this one is so well preserved. Many historic homes had gone into use as something else while people didn't see the importance of preserving our history. Most of what Teddy and family had here remained and...More

The site itself is lovely. It is a goodk outing for a sunny (not too humid) day. TR is a major figure in the Town of Oyster Bay. His grandaughter still lives in town!! The town was his summer home and the location of the...More

Was a great experience seeing the house where President Roosevelt lived with his family all those years ago. The only thing that I didn't plan on was having to book a reservation for a tour, which I missed out on due to poor planning and...More

I ordered my tickets online in advance. I recommend you do this as each tour is limited to just a few people due to small areas.
