Took our 9 year old granddaughter here. She enjoyed it as did my wife and I. We came early right after they opened to avoid as much of the days heat as possible. We felt it was a bit high for admission price ($18 for...More

Loved it! Beautiful and educational. Showed concern for the health and safety of visitors by making sunscreen and water available easily and often.

Well worth a visit with local wildlife and native plants on display. All the exhibits are well labelled and there are rangers available in key areas of the museum to add value.

Excellent way for our family to learn about the Sonoran Desert and the animals/insects which inhabit it. Unpaved and paved paths lead you to the animal exhibits and the surrounding desert. The Hummingbird Aviary along with a docent explaining tarantula behavior was fun and informative!...More

I go to the "living museum" several times a year. The summer can be hot so bring water. There are several watering stations on the paths throughout the museum. Mostly open air so sunscreen is also available by restrooms. Great exhibits with hands on stuff...More

This is a wonderful place to visit if you like wildlife. Everything here for the animal lover and then some. The raptor flight is a real plus.

Wonderful, unique place to see. To see all the desert plants and animals in their natural habitat. Best to go in winter or early morning.

Besides the museum, your children may enjoy Tombstone. It is an old west historic town with people dressed in period clothing and in character. Staged gun fights. Recreation of the shoot out at the OK corral.

Didn't see any. Since wild animals are part of the exhibit, I doubt it. Check with web site before you go.
