Coming to a desert state with little knowledge of the flora and fauna is typical but this open air museum solves the problem. There is so much to see and experience, from the animals, birds and butterflies to the trees, flowers and terrain. At 2 pm they release falcons that fly overhead and perch on the trainer's arm to eat... More

Definitely don't miss this site! Bring water, sunscreen, walking shoes and a camera. Arrive at 7:30 to find good parking and see the animals before they seek shade from the sun!

I have been to this museum 3 times. I always enjoy it and would go again if I am in the area. My wife loved the plants and I wasn't sure she would ever leave.

With beautiful grounds and habitats for all sorts of flora and fauna of the SW; the site is in the picturesque Sonoran desert. Great educational offerings, as well as other learning experiences.

We have visited this Museum several times, and each time we experience something new. More than 500 volunteers help to make this a wonderful learning experience for people of all ages. It combines a zoo with a botanical garden. There are workshops, demonstrations, hands-on experiences, or if you prefer the self guided tour of the Museum is excellent. If you... More

This museum has it all, very entertaining. Snakes, fish, javelina's, sheep, wolf, hummingbirds, etc. Spent six hours and didn't see it all. What a wonderful day.

...the great mix of flora and fauna this museum offers. We were fortunate that so much was in bloom and the animals were so active! The museum had a large visitation, based on a very full parking lot, but with the outdoor nature of the place it never felt too crowded, except at the raptor free flight demonstration and talk.... Great place to take the family! There are indoor things to see and outdoor things to see! We took our two grandsons (12 & 6) & they both loved it! We are getting ready to take them again this year! I highly recommend this museum!
