The Gallery exhibits are changed on a regular basis so no two visits are the same. It's advisable to use go on a tour in order to realize the true genus of Ted DeGrazia. Prints of some of his work is available in the gift shop but a walk thru the grounds is a pleasant surprise of his many talents.

We went to this gallery because we happened to be nearby at a brunch, and we were not blown away by the art of DeGrazia, but we did enjoy his garden of cactus and hanging ornaments, and also his home.

If our friends hadn't suggested this gem I don't know if we would have gone here. In fact, our friends have a DeGrazia painting in their home. The grounds and gallery are tremendously worthwhile. A terrific Tucson stop!

The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, in the foothills of Tucson, is a collection of buildings built by the artist Ted (Ettore) DeGrazia in the 1960s. It showcases the artists work, both via a typical museum of paintings and with his mural decorations of the buildings. My favorite gallery offering is the small open roofed chapel. Definitely worth an afternoon... More

The grounds were lovely but we were disappointed that a fee was charged to view the art work in the gallery so we decided the pass. We thought a $5 entrance fee might have been more suitable.

See how it was built, a lifetime of art created and on view. See lots of southwest art and a chance to buy some as well.

If you are looking for something fun to do in Tucson that doesn't take your whole day this is a nice little excursion that is fun to do. Get to know the artist and better understand his art. Would recommend highly!

As someone with a physical disability, I am always on the lookout for handicap accessible venues when I travel. I use a walker when out and about but also have a mobility scooter to use for places that require a lot of walking. I was very frustrated with my experience at this museum because of the accessibility challenges using my... More

If you're looking for something to do in the afternoon but the temperature is too warm for outdoor activities, then this gallery is an ideal option. They always offer new and original works of art with many from local artists. There's no cost to go in and browse at your leisure and they won't try any high pressure sales tactics,... More
