I love the Reid Park Zoo. Great exhibits and the staff is so knowledgeable. We got to pet a really cool lizard and we learned all about it's habits. Friendly people and a beautifully kept Zoo. I highly recommend seeing the zoo while you are visiting Tucson.

I always love zoos. This one is very lush with vegetation inside, a big plus in my book when you're in the desert. They have some very nice exhibits and a good selection of animals. The only reason I don't give a full five stars is it's not extremely large. A common problem with zoos in the desert, so it's... More

I live near Tucson and was quite surprised of this zoo. Much better than expected. Wish I had gone sooner. Very well done with lots of different animals and space. Great for kids & adults alike!

Well laid out and beautiful displays. While I'm not generally a fan of zoos, this was one of the best I've seen. I was impressed with the way the layout was arranged in such a way as to maximize the space without ever giving the impression of crowding.

First, no it's not San Diego Zoo. It is however a very good zoo and we in Tucson should be proud of it. It has a good section of animals and their enclosures seem well suited for them. We have gone many times and it has never failed to impress. Suggest you don't pay for admission - just get the... More

Great shade between exhibits so hot Arizona sun was not an issue. Great area for elephants - young baby elephant was cute. Missed the polar bear.

We had a great time and the zoo was quite well cared for. Buy the family pass for the year and it is quite economical.

This is just the right sized zoo for families with young children. There are enough displays to fell you got your money's worth. $10.50 adults, $8.50 seniors, $6.50 for children. In the morning there is time when you can feed the giraffes for $3.00. You are given two carrot sticks and when you hold them out the giraffes will wrap... More

This is a nice location and close to Tucson area for kids. Not real big but we attended Zoo lights during the Christmas Season.
