Flat and paved and very short and easy. This would be perfect for the nonhikers out there who would like to see the desert up close. Parking off the Cactus Forest Loop. Need your park pass to access this trail.

We hit this trail on our way to the airport just trying to kill some time before our flight. So glad we stopped, and will definitely go back to spend more time. This trail was a nice length for us as we weren't prepared for...More

We went on the trail because we had our dog with us and this is one of the only dog friendly trails in the national Park. It was interesting with some information on the boards and there were some places to rest if you needed...More

This flat, paved, quarter-mile loop marks the first trail stop for those driving the park's Cactus Forest Loop Drive. We stopped and parked in one of the spaces here on a weekday morning when no one else was around. I had a friend with me,...More

This is a short .25 mile paved loop that introduces folks to the plants and animals they will see during their visit. Great for kids, strollers, and folks who use mobility assist devices (wheelchairs, walkers, etc).

My granddaughter and I walked on this trail while visiting the park. The entire trail was blacktop and a very short walk. It's not at all strenuous. It's a nice opportunity to walk thru the dessert and see all the different types of plant life...More

Just 1/4 mile with some signs telling about some of the vegetation. It was a quickly easy little trail. I enjoyed it but wouldn't want to do it again.

This is a nice walk to do if you have very limited time. It's only about half a mile, paved, and flat. It has informational signs along the path telling about the local flora and fauna. We went in the winter, but I can imagine...More

Spotted this area as we were getting ready to leave the park. Thought we would stop and check it out. It was well worth the stop. It was handicap accessible, and with my wife temporarily in a wheel chair, it was a perfect spot to...More
