I enjoyed this small hidden gem. It is a quick stop with an interesting back story. You can almost forget your busy surroundings here. I appreciate Tucson preserving these statues. It is across the street from Fina's Tree (Tucson's largest) which also has an interesting little story.

Very short distance from downtown tucked near a bridge over the Santa Cruz River on Congress. Felix Lucero created the religious sculptures to fulfill a promise that brought him back safely from WWI .Good story on a plaque. Very nice and protected area. It it is also adjacent to the shaded Santa Cruz linear river park.

The last time we visited the garden was in sad shape. I'm happy to say that the upkeep is happening at a swift speed and the statues are being restored! For being right off the freeway, the garden is extremely peaceful and fabulous for reflection and solitude.

We visited the Garden the other day and it is easy to find, just west of Interstate 10 on Congress Street, turn North on Bonita Ave. There is a paved parking area, well maintained grounds in a serene setting.

This small garden houses religious sculptures by Feliz Lucero. Some earlier reviewers said they were in disrepair but when we were there an artist was there working on them. The garden and sculptures were being maintained. I don't recall that there was an admission fee required but I think they may accept donations to help fund the upkeep.

Very inspiring. Very interesting history of its creation. Unfortunately, it has not held up well in the elements.

This attraction is difficult to find. It is just west of I-10 and is far removed from anything else tourism oriented. As another reviewer stated, it is in a state of disrepair. However, restoration is underway and is expected to be completed in a couple years. In the meantime, it is a sad spectacle which has been subject to vandalism... More

This little garden is a must see in my book! The statues will not speak because this is not Disneyland, but there is an amazing history and a place that is probably overlooked by a lot of visitors to Tucson. For many years a person could visit at any hour of the day or night, but now there is a... More
