The fairgrounds are clean and well maintained. Security was good to help keep the bad element out. Food choices are plenty but expensive. (Typical fair prices). Price to get into the fair is very reasonable. Parking is a little sloppy but manageable. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone that likes the fair environment.

Wow this was such a great fair. It is the biggest fair we have ever been too. So much to do with our little kids. We loved the Kids Land and the entertainment. The music and attendants were definitely geared toward younger ears and we appreciated the effort.

We stayed in a full hookup RV site while attending a RV Rally. The fairgrounds are well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful and the onsite cantina served up good food. We had heard of problem with the electricity but we were at a 50amp site and didn’t have any issues and it was above average temperature. Overall a... More

If you want to spend some time in a quiet place .....THIS IS NOT IT. They tell you no RESERVATIONS are taken yet, when we came in we were told we could be in our spot for one week, move to an assigned area for a week and then come back to our old spot for our last week. The... More

We went to hear the band LoCash at our local Fairgrounds. Of course the food and rides are great, but the music was amazing! It was the first time seeing Locash in concert. There was a huge crowd (they should have been placed on the bigger stage). They even took pictures with their fans. It was an amazing time and... More

This fair is huge and yet it feels small and comfortable when your walking around enjoying yourself. They have many large buildings with commercial and mom and pop booths. All interesting and huge variety of items and prices. Then we went into the Arts building. This was everything from young kids to advanced artists showing their talents. Many items were... More

We went to the Fairgrounds as part of the Tucson Gem and Mineral show. It seemed nice and we enjoyed walking around.

This is definitely a good fair. I've gone for the rides and I've participated in the FFA programs in school that eventually brought me to competitions. The rides are great, there are usually great attractions like well-known bands and/or "freakshows" where people with strange talents perform for the crowds.

Visited the Pima County Fair this year for the first time in many years. Pretty much the same "fair atmosphere" that was always there. Enjoyed the booths in the buildings - skipped the rides, but the grandkids rode many of them. The place was packed even for a week day evening. Skip the food - eat before you go! Did... More

Our daughter is a singer/songwriter and has had many shows at various county/state fairs. We were so impressed by the incredible cleanliness, paved walkways and the staff that we met there. After her shows we walked around as "fair goers" to experience the whole thing. We LOVED it. We talked with many people after her shows and they all had... More
