You can bet as little as $2. Plenty of parking and $5 to get in per person. Before the race you can get up close and see each of the horses. Fun atmosphere. They have food and drink carts outside. The pizza was yummy!

Watching the ponies run is so exciting that next year I will be looking at season passes. The saddle room is in need of improvements. Some cosmetic, some staff corrections and the food needs a complete overhaul. However, the feel of this place is wonderful. I feel like "the Profit", I see success in this place if managed right and... More

It was a really fun day at the races! I love to watch Quarter Horse races (especially when they face the TBs), and I had a lot of fun! The only down side is that unfortunately now you have to pay for parking, to get in the clubhouse and the typical betting, drinking etc. I was bummed to have to... More

Every year we are in Tucson we go to this track and it is an interesting and in expensive experience. But know that the specialty is quarter horse racing. About 50% of the races are only about 330 yards long and take 18-20 seconds from the top of the stretch to the finish line (the other half are more like... More

This was a first experience so we sat in the club house. The wagering staff were very helpful to me since I was such a rookie to the sport. The food was not so great as was the service. Very unorganized staff and the food was below ballpark standard However, the atmosphere was great and my wife and I are... More

We came here a week ago to watch the thoroughbreds run. We had a great time at this small racetrack. Love sitting in the lawn chairs right by the track. They do have covered seats if you prefer. We were able to park close too!

Though what looks like a hand painted sign above the 'Clubhouse' says the track was established in 1943, many improvements have been and continue to be made. Racing begins at 1:00PM, and last weekend there were 8 races. Racing is every Saturday and Sunday with the exception of Easter Sunday, through the first two weeks of June. Many people brought... Quarter horses only race for a couple of months every year in Tucson, Arizona--February and March to be exact. And, they've been racin' in Tucson for a long long time. The legendary two story track Rillito Racetrack has a storied past and unclear future. A young trainer named Bob Baffert cut his teeth on racing his quarter horses in the... More

I took my Dad for his birthday this past weekend to the Rillito Park Horse Track and we had a blast! Older facility with covered Grand Stand seating as well as trackside outdoor seating for the making of a fun day in Tucson. The only downside is that it is only open for a few months a year and you... More

This old track has that rustic charm that is rapidly fading away in most venues. I don't believe there have been a lot of "upgrades" which is fine with me.
