It took a bit of looking to actually find this museum, which is located inside another building, but it was a wonderful surprise. The main collection is on the basement level and is amazing. Very, very interesting. Not large, but well worth a visit.

We went to the Arizona State Museum on the campus of the University of Arizona, Tucson. The museum was focused on Native American history, pottery and baskets. It was an excellent collection and the information we learned was rich and full.

UA is a gorgeous campus to visit. The redbrick buildings against the desert landscape with mountain views in the backgrounds make the grounds a great place to walk around. The grounds include interesting outdoors sculptures and you can visit spaces open to the public. Visitor...More

Hello: Yes there is a fee for parking. Some Parking lots are free during the weekends and/ or if any special function is going on campus. The students buy their Parking Lot Tickets each semester.
