The is a great park just to walk the perimeter

As an alt day to the gym, I loop this park twice. Very clean, no undesirables in view. Small library in one corner of the park. Restrooms and fountains available.

Nice, good sized park by the U of A. Lots of green space with plenty to do (swimming, tennis, walking, ...). I have gone a few time just to walk around.

This neighborhood park is easily accessible and includes a library, play sets, a concrete court, some nice rolling hills, picnic tables, and plenty of shade tree. We had numerous sightings of a male vermilion flycatcher as well as the usual suburban birds. We walked the circumference of the park and clocked it to be about 0.75 miles. There's plenty of... This park mostly serves the Sam Hughes Neighborhood, which covers 1 square mile between Speedway and Broadway and between Campbell and Country Club. The park is open to everyone, however, with offerings that include picnic tables, tennis courts and areas to play various athletic games. I especially like the small public library on the park's East side. There is nothing... More

This is a nice park near downtown Tucson. The library has lots of kid friendly events (babytime, toddler time, etc) and you can take your kids to the playground too. Also there is plenty of nearby parking. Good central meeting place for playdates, etc.

This used to be a nice park but it has been overrun by "druggies" and is no longer a safe place to walk.
