My daughter and I hiked to the top of Mount Wrightson in February. The trails were well marked. Birdlife is abundant in the creek bottom.

Madera canyon offers a brief reprieve from the desert floor. Travel up the canyon and watch the changing vegetation ...hike the surrounding hills for. Great view of the lower desert areas

We enjoyed nice hike up mountain from the upper or farthest parking. Saw three deer along the trail. We stopped and the two gift shops, both have nice scenic bird watching area's with seating. Great to view many local birds- hummingbirds, woodpeckers, finches and more.

My wife and I used to take our kids up here monthly when we lived in the area to go hiking. Also great to just drive up especially on a motorcycle as has nice turns and curves.
