If you want the history please read the review titled 'Stunning View; Historic Architecture'. I'm not the religious sort but the view behind the altar showcases the mountains in the background which is the work of God,if you will, while the architecture showcases the work of man. Relaxing to walk gardens and visit church. Great example historic Joesler southwestern adobe architecture. Stunning altar with views of mountains.
