Well worth the trip out to visit this rock shop. Knowledgeable owner that has tons of information about the extensive displays. He has so much to see and so much hidden in drawers that wait to be seen. If you are interested in fossils, artifacts and crystals do not miss this.

Excellent opportunity for businesses to research and purchase wholesale gen and mineral products. Tucson is the perfect location for travel and lodging - and the weather never disappoints. Plenty of incredibly beautiful, quality gems! My favorite venders were some of the USA family run companies like the one and only Herkimer Diamonds of Herkimer, NY. I also love the masterpieces... A really fantastic mineral shop. Deep selection, particularly for AZ minerals. The prices are also much lower than similar shops I've been to. The proprietors clearly love this stuff. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for an authentic Rock shop, this is the place. The drive alone, through Gates Pass, is spectacular. Arriving at the shop, you know you struck gold in the terms of authentic rock shop. They brothers that own the shop are very informative. At one time, living in nyc, working for the museum of natural history. Fossils,... More

Head NW on Kinnney rd. from Ajo Way, on the way to Tucson Mountain Park, Old Tucson and Desert Museum and you'll find this unique gem. Not some fancy rock shop more reminiscent of an old miners shack. This store is owned and operated by two brothers, that I would say, are two of the kindest human beings I've ever... More

We stopped as it was on our way to another destination. Took some pics with the dinosaur out front and poked around inside for a bit. The fossils were neat to see. Place was packed full of stuff, we just aren't gem people so didn't know exactly what we were looking at. Still, interesting assortment!
