If you enjoy learning history this is a fun place to visit. It's not scary and is very educational. Also visit the oldest Candy Shop in America which is close by.

There are two parts to this museum. The first part is outstanding, with dioramas and accurate tellings of the history. The second part was horrific. This was a guided tour with more information in another part of museum. It was pure propaganda for the promotion of witchcraft. I was not there for that. I didn't want to see the trials... More

So I chose between this museum and the other one in town. From the outside, it looked very exciting and big. There's two parts to this experience; first is you sit through a presentation where statues light up to narration. It's educational, but not entertaining and somewhat outdated. Part two; get broken into two groups to listen to a person... More

Check this item off the bucket-list! Was pretty amazing being there on Halloween night. Suitable for all ages. That being said, after 8pm, I'd take kids to the house, gets pretty crowded.

We liked this spot for the historic appearance of the church in which it was located. A drama was presented that was nice and gave perspective but a lot was too old and worn. We went to another place later with a live performance that was better. Especially interesting were the replicas of the cells in which prisoners were kept.... More

Very lame. They are renovating so hopefully the museum will be improved. It's very dated and limited. Could be so interesting but it's basically 3 glorified dioramas that lead into a big gift shop. Shop seems to be the point of the museum. Visitors are accompanied from station to station so it's tour only. Information and display outdated and limited.... More

This is a waste of time and money. $11 per person to listen to a dated recording as you watch lights change focus on various dusty scenes. Very poorly done!! Avoid this rip off!!!

This is an antiquated, poorly done "thing". I hesitate to call it a "show" or "museum"... it's really not much of anything. You sit in a room while they highlight one of about 12 scenes with poorly built mannequins (they legs aren't even filled out with enough stuffy for example) while a corny recording goes through the story. Save your... More

Thank you for your review of the Salem Witch Museum. I am sorry to read that your experience was not as you had hoped. It does seem that you missed a large chunk of what is offered at the museum from our extremely passionate and educated staff to the expanse of information within the presentations. That being said if you... More

I thought this museum was interesting. The presentation was a little "hokey", but I learned a lot. A must-see Salem attraction.

The term museum was used loosely when naming this place. It isn't much to get in, but once you're in what you get is what you pay for. They take you to a large room where the displays are above all around the room. You have to stand up and go in the middle of the room to look at... More
