I wanted to see this house because it is the only building still standing that existed during the witch trials. There is a small entry fee which allows the visitor to enter and go through the house on a non-guided tour. There is a lot...More

Some really cool memorabilia and stories in the house. Not really a witch house if that's what your after but still some great history. Great little witchy things like a poppet and witches cake etc so still cool to see.

This was Nathaniel Hawthorne's uncle's house that did sit on the sentencing panel of some of the witches but no witch ever lived here. This house is the only historic relic from that time period you can tour but it is not really relevant to...More

It's called the witch house, but it's really just a small colonial house of one of the judges. It was moderately interesting and cost $8 per person. Definitely not a have to see, but I suppose if you're there it's part of the equation.

It's $8 to visit this old house where one of the judges who decided the fate of those (wrongly) accused of witchcraft lived. The place is filled with old memorabilia and there is a man there to answer questions you might have, but the tour...More

Old house, first and second floors accessible. Showed what conditions a wealthy family of that time lived in. Interesting medical beliefs of the time as well. Not sure if it's worth the cost. But something to do while seeing the history of Salem. My daughter...More

It's a historical landmark and should be preserved, and it's interesting to read the tidbits about facets of the residents as well as the trials, but if you're looking for details on the witch culture specifically, you can get it at many of the Salem...More
