We started our visit of Salem here. It was very informative and is also the visitor center for the National Park site. I would recommend visiting.

The visitor center is easy to get to in the heart of town. It was very clean with roomy bathrooms for tourist to access. In the visitor center, there are several displays of history that are scale size but so detailed!

Gives a good overview of the various National Park sites in Salem. The displays are helpful to understand the role of the sea in Salem.
