My husband and I drove from Ohio to spend a few days in Salem. We wanted to see this light house. It is very small but worth it. We walked out on the rocks to be out in the water and it was peaceful.

This is primarily a campground but we just spent a few hours walking the grounds and enjoyed it. Beaches were nice, Quiet places to walk and just sit. Beautiful views to water and lighthouse. Historical markers and old artillery bunkers make it interesting.

Went swimming here this past Sunday. The first time we had gone there. Sandy with not a lot of rocks. Also, not really crowded. Good for young kids as not really a surf.

This is a nice campground area you can stay in with great views of the water and Marblehead. You can enjoy a few small uncrowded beaches with views of the sailboats moored out in the water.
