There are many actual artifacts from the Alamo and it explains everything that happened during the battle.

Lots of great pictures on the walls with a gift shop next door. Great Texas history lesson in a clean air conditioned area; plus restrooms are nearby.

This is a relatively new museum so they are still adding to it BUT the night time lantern tour is a must-do. The tour is like the movie "Night At The Museum". It's super fun! They bring history to life...literally. Big shout out to the...More

No, probably not. There is a lot of reading and understanding the history. If the 2 year old would play or sleep independently of the adults, then perfect...otherwise, he/she would be bored.

It's not a video! It's live action and you're a part of it! It last about 5-7 minutes. Re-enactors escort you through the "Alamo scene" with smoke and simulated cannon and musket fire. It's pretty cool. It's something... More
