The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

The River Walk is currently decked out with hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights for the Season. The Walk is full of excellent restaurants, bars, shops, hotels and stores. There truly is something for everyone there. I highly recommend taking a barge ride after dark...More

We enjoyed walking along the Riverwalk, although at times, it can be hectic. It is very commercial with a multitude of eating places. The water has a horrible green colour - ? to hide the garbage at the bottom. I like the battery operated lights...More

This hotel has such potential - but fails to deliver a return stay. There is no Christmas atmosphere in this hotel. The front desk is downright depressing. Clutter everywhere - really? Neatness and presentation does not cost one dime. They had a name change 3...More

The river walk is the perfect place to go for Christmas lighting. Spectacular is the only other word I can think of. Good restaurants and bars all up and down the river walk.

I agree with all the positive reviews and their experiences. To really enjoy the River Walk, it needs a couple of visits - daytime and evening after dark. Visiting during December provides Christmas lights and decorations. The Alamo is easy access through the Hyatt Regency...More

If you want to hang out with a lot of tourists and eat this is the place to be. Other than that was nothing special.
