Lovely Scenery

A lot of fun at night with pubs and bars and music. Peaceful and pretty in the morning, great for a jog or walk. Nice place to catch lunch and enjoy the views as well.

Great for dinner, shopping and walking around. Be selective about where you eat though as a lot of these places get by on their location

There are so many shops to visit, but the highlight is the scenery. Recommend a day and a night visit: Shop during the day, then take in the sights and sounds at night; Take a boat ride on the river at night--beautiful!

Fun atmosphere with lots of restaurants and shopping. Sometimes hard to walk through the crowds, but worth the effort. May be challenging for those who have trouble navigating stairs, though there are some ramps and elevators.

Pleasant afternoon along the river. We ate a decent lunch and enjoyed the walk. We even took the boat trip which was reasonably priced and informative. This was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon, and strolling, taking in lunch outside. The folks were friendly.

Beautiful and there are plenty of restaurants and a few shops to choose from. The river walk is a wonderful place to visit. It really comes alive at night. You should experience the river walk at least once in your life!

It was different. The water was not the best. It was dirty, but the boats were fun. I liked the atmosphere here though.

We always end up here whenever we visit San Antonio. Great restaurants and ok shopping. There's no railing in some places, so if you have little ones be vigilant. I think that the water is only about 3 feet deep though.
