This was an unplanned stop as we exited Natural Bridge Caverns....and so happy we did. The girls as young as 9 couldn't stop talking about this experience. Buy extra food and especially enjoy the beginning of the park where the animals are so thick you can barely drive through. After the opening experience the animals become more scattered but just... I've done open safari rides before, this one has mostly deer like creatures. The zebras and ostriches were probably the most exotic and they do come up to the car to get some food which is fun and exciting. The giraffes and kangaroos stay pretty far away. Petting zoo is mostly cute goats which we get to feed but some... More

We weren't initially planning on visiting the ranch, but I'm so glad we stumbled upon it. We had so much fun! It was like being a kid again: we laughed and even screamed a few times when we had ostriches and zebras sticking their heads in the window and/or sun roof. One bag of feed was just right for two... After a couple days of the Riverwalk, we were done with that particular area. We heard about the wildlife ranch and decided to rent a car for the day to check it out. It turned out to be the best day of the San Antonio trip by far! There are places to pick up rental cars right in downtown but... More

This is well constructed wildlife drive around. The petting zoo was slightly disappointing, but the food was excellent and value for money.

If you are not planning to do something on Easter Sunday, go there. We arrived at 11:00am and there was only couple of cars to pay the entrance. Inside, few people. We started the tour with few cars in front of us. Many animals came to the car to get the food. Careful with the horns of longhorns. They can... More

Absolutely loved feeding the animals throughout the park. Brought back childhood memories for me and my husband. Great place to take kids and adults will love as well!

I wasn't sure what to expect about this wildlife ranch , but I thought it was so cool! We went in April with my daughter ( 1.5) and my husband and everyone had fun. It took us about 35/40 minutes from San Antonio to get there. We went on a Saturday morning and got there about an hour after they... More

This was probably the most interesting experience I've ever had! As previous review have said, it's best to go as early as possible. We arrived at 8:30am and the park opens at 9am. You arrive to admissions window where they give you your bag of feed and send you on your way. There are a couple of different trails you... More
