The view is nice but not worth the price and wait time. Will probably have drinks or dessert in restaurant if I decide to return vs paying $12 to visit observation platform.

We went here trying to kill time. The kids loved the hills outside of here in the park. They kept rolling down them. We went up in the tower, took some pictures of the scenery then went downstairs to eat, but there was an extremely long wait. So we decided to eat in the bar and got in right away.... More

Tower of the Americas is kind of like the CN tower in Toronto or the Space Needle in Seattle. It has a great view of the area. The photos identifying the sights that line the observation area walls are outdated but you get a general idea of what you're looking at. There's a restaurant/bar a floor below which sometimes it... Amazing views of San Antonio! Worth the money to see. 4D movie is very lacking. Poor quality 3D glasses and picture. As we enters the theatre we were not given 3D glasses so I had to get up and search the theatre to find them. Waisted half the movie handing out glasses to everyone and when I had time to... More

The park around the tower includes lots of beautiful old homes and many water features. The tower looks impressive from the ground all over the city, but the view from the top really isn't that interesting as you just look out over the city and flat lands as far as the eye can see

I am someone who loves great views so had to check this place out. I am a Lanrdy's restaurant member so decided to check out the restaurant on the Tower of the America's. I quickly went to the observation tower (you can do that for free if you eat at the restaurant) as well which basically has the same view.... More

We were taking our granddaughter on spring break to the river walk. She loved going up in the tower and seeing the views from high. The 4D ride was great for younger children, probably not for teenagers. God early as it gets crowded.
