We loved this museum..It had a great 17th century display of Texas art and history. And a huge variety of all kinds of art. I enjoyed the older stuff more than the modern stuff.

Went to killed some time but end up spending hours. The Egyptian and Asian collects were large and impressive. Plan to spend half a day. It will be well worth it.

We went on a Friday night at 6 PM because we saw it was open till nine. Glad we went at this time practically had the museum to our selves. Lots of art to see. Was not a close walk from hotel on river walk...More

While not a great art museum, this is certainly a place worth visiting. The Texas art section was surprisingly sparse, but there is some great pre-Columbian art and some interesting 18th and 19th century American paintings. The galleries are well signed and the art works...More

Great museum,architecture is special in old brewery converted,glass bridge on top floor a must see park f you sppreciate architecture,china japan egyptian and Greek are the best! Was free Tuesday following Xmas,so check if free days...bus stop close,worth the visit.

Enjoyed all the different rooms of beautiful art. The art is displayed in large rooms to enjoy the beauty of the art from close or far. Worth seeing.
