I believe this gem gets overlooked with all the fun of the riverwalk, malls, carriage rides, and other attractions nearby. This was definitely worth the stop and was well under traveled

I'm sure you've had the experience where you ask yourself, "Why isn't this more popular?" We definitely had that feeling on visiting the McNay. They have awesome exhibits every now and again! Wait until they have a visiting exhibit and then go and soak in the whole place! It's very clean and very well taken care of , and you'll enjoy the history of the area!

Wonderful place to go explore. Lots to see. I am not a real "artsy" person but my niece recommended I go. Boy was she right.

This museum has a great mix of old and new architecture as well as old and modern art. Don't miss the sculptures in the gardens and nearby Local coffee for a treat after your visit.
