I usually stay downtown on the river whenever I come to SA. Walking on the river is usually a very pleasant experience (weekends and some nights can get pretty crowded). There are tons of dining places. And if you are so inclined, you can walk all the way to Brackenridge Park. Most of the walk is fun and interesting. The... More

So fun! Don't miss it. You can ride a boat and sit back and relax or you can walk or run it. Lots of shops and places to eat. Pet friendly.

Good informative tour of the river walk from the water Reasonably priced and about 45 minutes. Host/boat driver makes the tour. Relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best things to do on the Riverwalk is to hail a Rio Water Taxi differentiated from the tour boats by checkered flags on the back and a sign on the bow indicating it is a Rio Taxi. You can ride from point to point for a reduced fee but to ride the whole route is only $15... More

This is a nice walk to take in the sights of downtown San Antonio. There is a lot of history here, wonderful restaurants, pretty good shopping and cute riverboat taxis that you can take.

The river walk is full of dining and drinking options with something for every taste and price point. Very crowded on weekends but worth slowing down and taking in the sights and smells.

Lots of bars & restaurants to choose from as you are walking the River Walk, along with water taxis too.

It seemed clean for the most part and there are people working on the river and cleaning it daily. The river is the hub of life here it is lovely.

I used to enjoy visiting the Riverwalk but not this time. Too many new places have opened and it is extremely congested. Construction going on detoured us and as we were unable to use the same area to exit. We ended up in another area (totally threw us off) and were lost.

We spent each morning walking many miles along the Riverwalk. It was so clean and very well maintained. I would recommend trying to get accommodations down off the main area so it feels less chaotic.
