The Alamo movie is in the River Center Mall and is shown all day on the hour. I think I paid $10 or $11 per person plus tax. Watching any movie on an Imax screen is impressive. I thought the movie itself (a) attempted to...More

The IMAX is worth seeing in that it represents, as best as it can, the actual Alamo battle. The little movie at the Alamo itself helps put the entire battle in a broader context. This one focuses just on the Alamo battle.

I would recommend watching the movie before going to the Alamo. The shrine will mean a lot more. Comfortable seats, well done movie.

Informative and entertaining movie. It was nice to see it before going across the street to the Alamo. I thought that it made visiting the Alamo a more complete experience - the Alamo itself is a fairly quick walkthrough (maybe 20 minutes to 1.5 hours...More

It's fun for a new show ... panoramic show like a Disney film. But the consession stand is lame. When will they start serving carrot sticks and celery like others?

A 45 minute movie at $11.50 per person. It was good for information purposes if you know nothing about the Alamo and why it is considered a historic/famous place. The movie acting was a little hokie at times but the message was enough so you...More

This is a natural first stop in a visit to the Alamo, which is just across the street. The IMAX theater is part of the Rivercenter Mall, which has its very own, covered parking garage. Parking here is about the most expensive there is downtown...More

Had a great time, the service was great and the draft beers were excellent. I didn't order any food so I can't rate that.
