My husband graduated from boot camp in 1962 from Lackland. We enjoyed a tour of the base from our son's friend and even attended the Airman's Retreat. Made me proud to be an American.

My daughter graduated from here at the end of October. The base was nice, and the graduation ceremonies were so patriotic! Made me prouder to be an American!

Visited for a boot camp graduation and was able to explore part of the base. If you have an interest in Aircraft and Air Force history there are several places on the base you should not miss.

The best thing to do is call the base directory. The operator will direct your call. Most bases have areas to "store" these items but I don't think they offer any stations for hooking up electricity or water. If you're a... More
