My wife wanted to visit all the old Catholic churches in San Antonio. Upon arrival, I saw the vessel housing the big Alamo 3 and others. This was also the site where Gen Santa Ana resided during the Alamo siege. This church radiates history!

You can go in and look around - very beautiful. On certain nights there is a laser show on the front of the church. Is cool to see - takes about 25 minutes

We watched a beautiful light show that is reflected on the Cathedral. My 10 year old grandson was able to comment on all of the history connected with our country. It was impressive!!

This is one of the prettiest cathedrals in Northern America. It is located at the main plaza and there is not a lot to see here outside of the cathedral. I highly recommend making the effort to see this both during the day and night....More

You can walk there from the Riverwalk. It’s approximately 2.5 blocks. The light show is free and open to the public. It is displayed on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm and lasts 24... More

The light show is at 9, 9:30 and 10pm on Tuesday, Thurs, Friday, Sat and Sun. There is no "tour" of the cathederal that I know of, it is pretty much self guided. Times are during the day..believe open like 9 to 5. Sundays... More
